Quit-Kick stops your horse kicking stable doors The Quit-Kick unit has been designed by equine professionals to stop the frustrating habit of horses kicking stable doors. When a horse kicks a stable door it can cause damage to hooves, legs and stable doors. It can also be contagious, as other horses nearby may also pick up the habit. The Quitkick is a quick and easy to fit device specifically designed by equestrian experts to eliminate stable door kicking 100% of the time. How it Works The Quit-Kick device is mounted on the outside of the stable door. Once mounted on the outside of the stable door the Quitkick detects, through electronic sensors, when the door is kicked by the horse. The device immediately sends two jets of water upwards in a one second burst. This stops the horse kicking the stable door. The horse is free to look out over the door as normal and the unit will not activate unless the door is kicked. The horse very quickly makes the association between kicking the stable door and the water spraying upwards. The horse does not associate the water spray with anything other than it’s own actions (Negative reinforcement). Testimonial "I have a horse in my yard which used to bang & barge at his door to the point where the door would bend. Within 3 hours of using the Quit-Kick, this behaviour has stopped. After about 3 days the horse did not even try to repeat the same behaviour. I was pleased because he did not become scared or apprehensive of the door - he just learnt not to kick it. The Quit-Kick worked equally efficiently on other door kickers on the yard. Colleagues of mine agree it is a simple and safe way to stop this annoying habit." ~ KEN SPENCER - EVENT RIDER & LIVERY YARD PROPRIETOR.
