This product comes in an aerosol can with a directional nozzle. It is available in 3 colours – White; Black and Brown. Cover Magic Black can be used to blacken up legs, blacken hooves, cover up white hairs on body or in the mane and tail. Cover Magic Black will cover marks for longer than the make ups, but is not a permanent cover, nor is it a dye. The colour will dry to a matt finish. Cover Magic White can be used to cover up marks and scars – as well as for whitening tails and socks – covering over those last minute dreaded (and frequently occurring!) stable stains. The depth of colour for Cover Magic Brown can be built up to a darker colour by applying, allowing the product to dry, then applying the product again on top of the original application. Tips & Hints: 1. If the animal does not like aerosols, Cover Magic can be applied using a slightly damp sponge, though this is not as effective as spraying directly on to the coat. 2. When spraying, the can must be in an upright position. After spraying, turn the can upside down and spray two short bursts of the product. This will keep the nozzle clear for next use.

This product is to assist in the production of perfect plaits. It keeps plaits looking neat and pristine and can be used on a wet or dry mane. It has proved to be a very popular product and sells well.
Tips & Hints: 1. Easy Plait can be used when plaiting up the night before. 2. Section the mane, comb the mane to be plaited, spray on the product before starting plaiting. 3. Can be used once plaited up to secure plaits in place.

This product has an oily base and will spread well and evenly. Eye Gloss can be used to darken around the eyes and muzzle – to highlight and add definition to the features. It can be applied either with fingers or cloth or sponge. It can be toned down to darken, rather than blacken, if required.
Tips & Hints: 1. Use this product sparingly. This should be used to darken, not necessarily blacken, particularly on lighter coloured horses and ponies. There is nothing worse – or unnatural looking – than ‘Panda Eyes’ on a pony that is achieved by using too much of this product. Enhance features rather than trying to change them. Also if you use products that change the appearance or use too much to produce an unnatural look, that Judges will mark the pony orhorse down. 2. On hot days, the colour may rise to the top of the pot. This is because the product is oiled based and is not a fault. If this does happen, heat the product gently and stir with a cocktail stick or similar to re-disperse the colour, and allow to cool.

This product is designed to go ‘glisteny’ when warmed by the sun or body temperature. Highlighter Gel works well to produce a shine over the Black or Brown Matt make-ups. Highlighter Gel works well on it’s own over muzzles and round eyes and will help prevent sunburn on lighter skinned animals. Apply Highlighter Gel with the fingertips or with a sponge on to the desired areas that need highlighting to the Judge – eyes, muzzle, knees etc.
Tips & Hints: 1. Highlighter Gel does not need ‘rubbing in’ Apply the product and leave it on top of the skin. 2. Highlighter Gel can be used for ‘gelling down’ plaits – immediately effective and keeps ‘sprutty’ ends in. 3. Highlighter Gel contains Citronella which very occasionally causes an allergic reaction – more likely on lighter skinned animals than darker bays etc. On ponies / horses that have displayed they have sensitive skin, it is always worthwhile doing a small skin test prior to using the product for the first time. If there is a reaction of any kind, Highlighter Gloss is the ideal substitute as this does not contain Citronella. 4. This is NOT Vaseline! 5. Highlighter Gel contains a UV Filter equivalent to SPF20 so will help to avoid sunburn on sensitive or lighter skinned animals. 6. Use Highlighter Gel when ‘coloured’ products cannot be used – i.e. when breed rules dictate no make-up products.
|
This product was developed as an alternative to Highlighter Gel, without the Citronella. Highlighter Gloss also contains a UV Filter equivalent to SPF20 so will help to avoid sunburn on sensitive or lighter skinned animals such as around the eyes and nose. Highlighter Gloss can be used and applied in the same way as Highlighter Gel and becomes very glisteny in the sun. This product is effective when used in conjunction with the make ups.

Supreme Leg & Body Whitener produces amazing white legs – almost silvery white! Leg & Body Whitener can be used to cover up last minute stable stains – in powder Tips & Hints: 1. The most effective way of using the Leg & Body Whitener for white socks is to mix the powder with water to the consistency of yoghurt and paint on to the socks. Bandage up the socks whilst still wet – and that’s it! Remove the bandages the following day, there will be no need to groom and the bandages will have absorbed any excess powder. Simply shake out the bandages ready for next use. This is a great way to use the product as this preparation is done the night before the show – leaving less to do in the morning! 2. For whitening bodies, add a fistful of Leg & Body Whitener to a 2 gallon bucket of warm water and use as a final rinse or when shampooing is not necessary. Rinse all over (including the tail if required) and sheet up the animal - which will absorb any excess powder – and allow to dry. 3. Supreme Leg & Body Whitener will bring out any dapples on a grey or white pony / horse. 4. Any powder which is not used when whitening socks is not to be wasted! Simply seal the pot, then the next time the product is required, add water, mix in to a paste and add more powder until you get the consistency you require. 5. Leg & Body Whitener in it’s powder form is not ‘brilliant white’ to look at – it has almost a greyish look. Don’t be fooled, this product does produce amazing results, it is much more effective than chalk. It lasts and is very effective. 6. Use as a last minute touch up for stable stains by applying the powder straight on to the body or socks, either in powder form or by applying by dipping a slightly damp sponge in the powder and working in to the stain to cover it.

The matt make-up range can be used to cover marks and scars and once applied will dry to a matt finish. The five colours can be used in conjunction with one-another to affect the desired shade for the animal – for example the Black and White will produce a range of grey colours. Both the Brown Matt colours and the Black Matt can be toned down to affect a lighter colour – or add white. The matt colours are denser than the Eye Gloss, but when warmed by body temperature they will spread well.
Tips & Hints: 1. For best results, take a ‘blob’ from the pot and remove unwanted excess – rather than taking a small amount and trying to build up the colour. 2. If building up or mixing colours, mix on the back of a hand first rather than mixing whilst on the animal. 3. These products can be used along with Highlighter Gel or Highlighter Gloss and will give the same effect as Eye Gloss. Either mix the two together or apply the matt colour first followed by the Highlighter product. 4. The Matt colours apply well with a slightly damp sponge.
